Welcome to our website! We hope that you visit our church soon.  If you have any questions about our church, please feel free to give our office a call at 601.587.2114 or email us at candace@monticellobaptist.com.

Our church has been blessed over the years with strong preschool, children, and youth programs. We firmly believe in discipling our future generations. They aren't the church of tomorrow but the church of today. There is a place for them here. No matter what stage you are in life, there is a place for you to get plugged in to!
How to find us?
MBC is located in downtown Monticello, MS. It is just west of the Pearl River on Hwy 184, also known as Broad Street.
How do I dress?
If you are more comfortable in casual clothes, please dress casually. If you enjoy wearing a suit, then please do so. You will be welcomed by our church in both instances.
When Do I Need to Arrive?
Sunday School (small group Bible study for all ages) begins at 9:45 AM.  Morning Worship begins at 11:00 AM.  There are greeters available to assist you.
What Do I Bring?
If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. Our Pastor, Rev. Tim McCaffrey, provides a teaching outline for his Sunday messages that are displayed, and a Bible will help you to follow along in worship and in Bible Study.  If you are curious, Bro. Tim uses the HCSB Version of the Bible, but bring whatever you have.
Where Do I Park?
Guest parking is located in front and there is ample parking available on either side and in the back.
Where Do I Enter?
You will see white double doors on either side, as well as the rear and front of the main building. All of those are available to enter. For Sunday School, most adult classes can be found by coming in the entrances in the rear of the building. If it's your first time, you may enter on the east side of building, the office entrance, and someone will help you find the right class for you and answer questions you may have.
Where Do My Children Go?
During Sunday and Wednesday Services, we utilize the preschool wing in the main building for our bed babies as well as our preschool up to the age of kindergarten. You can enter the west entrance under the awning. For Children, grades 1st through 6th, all of their activites are located on the first floor of the Family Life Center. Our youth programs for students, grades 7th through 12th, all take place in second floor of the FLC.
What to Expect in the Worship Service?
Our worship services are a blend of casual and formal, contemporary and traditional. We encourage our guests to join us in the praise and worship of our God, regardless of which style of music we are singing at any given time. Our pastor, Brother Tim, always has a biblically based message, which is interesting, challenging and informative.
